Congrats! Good luck. Which dealer did you get it from. I'm thinking of going looking into a new F250.....

I looked all over the Valley and didn't find what I wanted so I ordered it from Parker Motor Co. up on the river in Parker. I grew up in that area and the owner is an old friend. Had I bought here it would only have been Sanderson, I have purchased 3 previous vehicles from them and have nothing but good to say about them.
Between the rebates and an X plan PIN I saved just over $8000 on the new one!

I've heard good things about Sanderson. I used to have great service from ole man Lou Grub, before the store went Power, Nation or who ever owns them this year. Service has gone down, sales, I don't even recognize the place. Our family bought 12 cars in as many years, and I wouldn't go back. I'll look into Sanderson, thanks for the tip. Good luck with your new addition.

My group is easy to list:

1. 1998 Explorer 2WD XLT 4-door. This is the daily driver, the UAV (Urban Assault Vehicle).
2. 1948 Ford F1 Pickup Project. Currently has a '78 302 with C4 which will be changed. I just brought this home on Saturday.
3. Collecting parts for the next project after the '48. This will be a '29 RPU with flathead. I have the flathead. NO, its not for sale.

Oh, and I have numerous F1 parts for sale. PM me for details and a list.

Hopefully you keep the F1 all Ford and not a small block Chevy like seems to be the fad. I am the that way myself, stay with the same manufacturer. I had a 77 Chevy Luv that I put a 3.8L turbocharged GM motor out of a Grand National in, a 52 Dodge 5 window pick up that I installed a 318 with a 727 transmission and a 64 Ford with a 352 Mercury. All were fun projects.

AZDesertRat,
The F1 will stay all Ford. Period. I'm still deciding but I'm leaning towards a '94 351W with a E4OD trans out of an E350 van. I'd change the computer and the EFI to mass air flow. Its a truck and there will be some towing involved so it'll need a bigger V8 than the 302 and C4. I'll fit it with a B&W turnover gooseneck hitch. Chevy in my house is a bad word.

I drive a 2006 F-350 King Ranch FX4 single rear wheel crew cab diesel. Before this one had a 2002 F-350 Lariat supercab 2WD dually with the powerstroke, a 2001 crew cab Lariat 4X4 powerstroke, a 1999 regular cab F-250 XLT powerstroke, a 1996 regular cab F-250 4X4 XL powerstroke, a 1990 F-350 crewcab dually XLT with the old 7.3 diesel and my first ride was a 1983 F-150 regular cab that came with the 351 but I put a 429 and a C-6 out of an old T-bird in it. Ford,Ford,Ford. Grandpa, Dad Brothers and me.
