Which do you guys think is better, the f100 or the f150?
f100- carbureted 302
f150- fuel injected 351W
both 4wd
f100- 7" lift on 33s
f`150- 4" lift on 33s

For doing what?

FI is easily better to live with year-round, and if it's stock, that old 302 is anemic compared to the Windsor.

Now, which is cooler? I'd lean towards the bumpside.

The F150, definitely. I'd trade for it in a heartbeat.

I don't know that I'd give up that straight axle lol Swap a bigger motor into yours? Don't get me wrong tho, I absolutely love my 96 4x4.

IMO the 1969 Ranger is about the best looking truck Ford ever made. But for everyday driving I would trade for the '96 pretty dang quick.

Looking at the F100 reminds me of that movie "No Country for Old Men". The trucks that Josh Brolin's character found that were shot to hell were classic customized late 60's and early to mid 70's trucks. Have to watch it again but believe all 3 major truck make's were represented.

I do like that body style. Cool

Liked the movie too. Departure from normal - there was no soundtrack.

Bet it got a couple of hits on the FTE 67-72 forum.

Regarding the original question - I'd take the '96 if I were you.

If you need a dependable truck for long trips and an extended cab,get the 96. If it were me and I didn't need the truck for trips, and kept it local,I would take the 69 in a heartbeat and swap in a built 351w !!
