Squeaking/Chirping Front End

As I drive down the road I can hear a noise coming from the vehicle. For you country folks it sounds like driving by a pond during the summer and hearing the frogs croak.. I couldn't figure it out so today I put it on jack stands and put it in drive. It didn't make the noise. I spun the front tires as hard as I could with my hands and didn't hear it. However, when I put it in 4wd and the front wheel starts spinning the noise appears. I crawled under and cannot figure out where it is coming from. I lubed and sprayed everything that even looked like it could be lubed and it still makes the sound. I'm thinking something in the front axle.....any ideas?

you need to pull your wheel bearings, pack and/or replace. I'd replace them, its fairly inexpensive and easy to do. I'm pretty sure you may have one going out and if not addressed soon it may lock up on you while driving, ruin your spindle, etc..
