i just got a 1974 f100 4x4 my question is when i put it in four wheel drive on the pavement the front passenger wheel cherps on the pavement when im going straight.its been along time scince i have hade an older 4x4 and dont rember it doing this , there is two smaller tires on the front than the rear right now would that cause this.
You shouldn't have it in 4WD on dry pavement but yes the smaller tires up front will cause the drive train to bind up resulting in the "chirping" noise your tires make.
