01 f250 super duty 7.3 bad ilde in morn

my 7.3 idles like i have a big cam in it in the mornings for about 5 seconds it has a bad lope, does any one know why thanks for your help. huntersmith57 o1 f-250 superdudy supercab 6 inch lift 35"bfg's 4"mbrp exaust, BD trans pan and shiftkit gauges

A lot of these trucks do that,normally using synthetic oil will make it go away

Cold start "romping" is a common issue. Heres a bump to get you some more info...

Mine did that.

Glow plug Relay could be faulty.
Could have a dead glow plug or a couple.
Both of the above i found i had a problem with.
Still got the romps once in a while but helped and better yet. I got her started without plugging it in.
SYN oil cured the romps for good. Even 30 degrees this morning and she fired right up after about 15 seconds on the Wait to start is all.
