OK, I think I am on the way to understanding what is going on. I did get a good ground on the front tank and gauge went to full- so good gauge, bad front sender. On the rear tank, the needle was actually moving about an 8th on an inch off of E, and I did not realize it- the tank is full so I was looking for the guage to really move. I think that sender might be good, but the float has sunk to the bottom of the tank. I am going to get a new sender for the front and see what that gives me- thanks for everyones help!
