New F-2 brake shoes

New F-2 brake shoes
In one of my latest issues of Old Cars Weekly Job Lot Auto advertised new, not reconditioned, brake shoes for '39-50 3/4 ton trucks, front and back and '39-50 1 ton, fronts only. Their price for a set of four shoes, one axle, is $68.50. Up until now you had to get your shoes relined, you couldn't buy new ones from anywhere that I know of. I haven't checked on the price of relining shoes lately but I think I paid something like $10 a piece about ten years ago, but I'm not sure.
JobLot Automotive
They don't have them listed on their web site. Some times Job Lot has '48-56 truck sales literature that you can down load but right now they don't.
I think these might also fit up to mid '51. I have a set of really nice brake drums from a late '51 that I can't use that I bought for my '49, not knowing Ford changed brake design in mid '51. It's best to call them before buying to verify.
