Calling Dennis (Mil1ion). . . Help Wanted. . .
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 07-Nov-02 AT 07:25 PM (EST)]Okay, y'all, please don't bash me for posting this here. I am not trying to be disrespectful, or a waste of space, I am only trying to get some help. I already got ran out of the FE forum because of this message, but I am trying (again) to get Dennis's attention!
Dennis,
I ran across the below given post a while back and e-mailed you directly asking for these files, but never received a response. I also posted a similar message like this one in the FE forum, and ratsmoker ran me off. I know you must be a busy man, but I would like to hear from you concerning this; even if your response is to say that you no longer have the files or if you want to tell me to take a hike. . . Anyway, if you still have the files that you mentioned in the below given post, could you please e-mail them to me. Here's the post:

I am desperately trying to gather some information on the MEL, especially information on how the racers used to build them back in the day. I know these engines have enormous potential, and I am bent on building one. I just don't want to have to re-invent the wheel when I know that they were raced, and won several races, back in the day. So, if you (or anyone else reading this) have any specific information about the MEL (OTHER than basic year and cubic inch info), especially anything on building one for high performance, then please do me the favor of sending a copy of it my way. Thanks!
Very Respectfully,
Nathan

I'll be moving this to the Alberta chapter forum instead.

I have scanned a few (4)specifications info regarding the 383 .
It was produced for 3 years 58-60.
If you send me a personal e-mail at
I will reply with the specs for you to print and save.
This is a very old book so some of the pages might appear yellowing.
