What can I do , so I can have more Turbo Sound.

2003 6.0 Stock, I did delete the EGR pipe.

If you have the original 03 turbo on it, with an A/M exhaust - like 4" MBPR or Magnaflow - and NO CAT in the system, the truck will sound like a jet taking off......

or just straight 4 inch exhaust.the jet sound is cool.

 

FYI, "exhaust hiss" != "turbo singing".

Exhaust hiss is annoying. Turbo singing is music to the ears.

Unfortunately, Ford's NVH program says Turbo Singing = bad news.

According to rumor, the '03 turbos were louder, but '04 and later had a permanent ring cast into the impeller housing to squelch the singing.

I have a 1st gen 6.0, sounds good, runs good, But I want more.

Also doing a Cat Delete, what are the Pro's and Con's to that?

 

IF you just want a whistle try the Poweraid from Airaid. It whistles but that is all it does. No performance gain....that I can find tell of.

I've always wondered if the poweraid is detrimental since 6.0's where built to such tight tolerances. But I could not get any answers from Airaid.
