57 f100 w/ 302 exhaust

I did a search and found earlier model f100 stuff but not this generation. I have a 57 f100. Putting a 302 in it this next week. Does anyone know what exhaust headers or manifolds I can use. I'm using the CCP crossmember and the steering box is stock. Oh yeah, it also has the giant starter on it. I've seen people recommend sanderson headers, but i'm looking for cheaper. No more than $150 and prefer used. I would like to order before the motor is in so I can get this thing on the road. Any help is welcome.

Anyway I had the same problem as you as far as clearance goes .I went with a early 70s broncos exhaust maniford it ran close to engine and was able to miss the steering pump . the pasenger side was not a problem..I found one on craigs list here in a san diego about 100 bucks Good luck on your project

Most factory header/manifold sets might work. I had a good looking set that came off of the 90 Towncar donor. I'm sure there not tuned as good as Sanderson/Hooker/Hedman and the like. They didn't look nearly as heavy as the older cast iron manifolds. They can be had at the Memphis Pull-a-part for less than $20.

The 302 in my 49 is running 65-68 Mustang exhaust manifolds. They empty at the rear and fit close to the engine. I have a Volare suspension so the engine is offset to the right about two inches to clear my steering box...
