Trac-lok was an extra cost option on the CVPI and of all the ones I have worked on and driven, I have only seen one with it.
It's 3.55 too.

Wow it has been a while since I have checked on this thread. I had life catch up with me but here lately have been making some headway on the truck. I am still cussing wires but confident that the solution will present itself. One problem has been solved and that was PATS. I have a computer from a police cruiser so PATS is disabled. I did get the rear axle installed from a 98 Ford Exploder, disk brakes 4.10 gears with track lock. Should be fun to drive. I will have to tub the rear fender wells to allow more room for the narrower axle. Changed out spark plugs and have a 12 foot wiring harness laid out over the garage. Hopefully this summer we will see her come to life. Romak let me know if you are still around and have any suggestions.

Have you guys seen or heard of someone modifying old gas tanks to be able to use a newer sending unit? I am doing my 70s mustang gas tank install and will be running fuel lines soon. I am puzzled at the best way to modify the top of the older tanks since they have the curved surfaces. I will have to cut a large hole in the top but then have to flatten out the curved top. I have seen one use a simple idea of a C clamp and a flat piece of steel to mash the surface flat. I wonder if there is a way to use a shim or something. Just thoughts.
