If any of you have the DRW stuff laying around, I have a buddy that would be interested.
But he's a cheapass. Lol
I'd rather see him run the right stuff, instead of the damn spacers he bought.

Thanks, Falcon. I actually have the code pages, but they don't offer much in the way of clarity. BUT, from what you're saying above and in response, too, it sounds like I'm pretty safe as long as I stay within my year range. That was the big thing--I'm already in this truck more than I should have been (bad, bad purchase on my part, though I thought I was doing better), and don't want to end up buying a rear end that means tons more work (and money). That tidbit about springs is super useful, too. The reason I quoted axle weight is on one page on the (added below) codes, it gives weights on them (7400lb, 8500lb), etc. On my page, with axle codes around mine, they list nothing, just LS or NLS. Thanks a million for stopping in on this one again. Mine is the 39 code (my trouble is that some of the ones I'm looking at don't offer the door code, as they've already been pulled, just the tag and year of the truck it came off of). https://www.ford-trucks.com/articles...le-code-chart/

Basically what he needs. He already put spacers on the rear.
