How do I make photos smaller
I recently purchased a digital camera. It's a Sony, so it didn't come with much for software. I am having problems making my photos smaller. When I try to add photos to my website they are huge.
Today I purchased photoSuite, but I haven't had much time to look at it.
Does anyone know how to shrink photos?

First off make sure they are Saved in Jpg format.
Not BMP
The software should have a re-sizing tool .
Maybe check your *Help* in the program that opens your photo.
You will probably have to highlite the photo (six bars surrounding the photo) and use the cursor and drag it to make the right size.
How large are they right now?
If they aren't TOO BIG ,send me a couple and I'll re-size them and send them back to you.
make sure you send them directly Not through a hotmail acct.

mil1ion:
Thanks for the reply and the offer to help. I don't know what the deal is. I tried exactly what you said yesterday and it didn't work. When I got up this morning I read your post and figured, what the hell, I'll try it agian and this time it worked. Computers never cease to amaze me.
Thanks again,
Rocking M

I forgot to mention that with every program I've seen, once you have the drag bars located around the photo,if you hold down the Shift Key while dragging the photo from a corner tab the size of the new photo will remain at the same ratio as the original.
