82 f150 (started putting drivetrain together, have a few ?'s)

I just started putting together the drivetrain on my 82 f150 today, finally had a day where there no rain/work. I just had a question about the clutch fork and throw out bearing. In this picture below, does the tab on the bell housing slide between the ball and the tab on the clutch fork? Also, the next picture, is that the throw out bearing attached to the fork? Silly questions but I've never done this project before.

I found this diagram online. Looks like that tab is the clutch release lever seat. Still not sure how it orients on the clutch for. And I still don't know if the clutch for bolts to the housing or not, but it doesn't look like it from this. And I am definitely missing the bracket 7A572. I think I'll pull the bellhousing back off and take a look tomorrow.

Took the bell housing out, and that tab on the housing slips between the one on the clutch fork and the ball. I have no idea if that bracket the diagram serves any purpose, but I am definitely missing the shield that goes over the fork, not sure if that's a big deal though. Anyone know what purpose the bracket and stud serve?

The bracket and stud look like they are part of a mechanical clutch linkage. Is yours manual or hydraulic? The boot that goes over the fork serves to keep debris and dirt out of the bellhousing and clutch. It would be a good idea to replace it if possible.

Mine is mechanical, I went to the junk yard with that diagram today and turns out that the bracket was 79 and older models, not sure why its on the diagram but I picked up the boot cover and one other piece that i needed, I'll be bolting this all together again in a few days!
