1946 mercury 1 ton pickup

Anyone in Canada know where I can find a new grille for this truck?

They aren't being reproduced and I doubt they ever will be. There was only about 13000 ever made (46+47) and I've never seen a straight one.

Mcmillan fibreglass produces a fibreglass set for 300 dollars, they are located in Ontario and over the web. I was lucky enough to have a near perfect set for my 47 Mercury.

McMillan Fibreglass
Here is a link I do believe.
But that is just for the bars I should point out. I don't know if anyone sells the Mercury badge. The hood trim is the same as ford just chromed

Mine is in decent shape but has some rust thru holes and im also missing one of the center pieces of the grill. Im trying to find someone that could make a mold of one of the other pieces and make me a new one. So that is why I was trying to see if someone in Canada knew of someone that made new ones. Just to save some time and frustation, but i guess I have to do it the long and hard way.... It will be worth it in the end... I love the front grill in the Mercury instead of the Ford front grill....Thanks for the replies

For the piece that your missing is it one of the center pieces that goes on the grill bars? I may have one kicking around but it might be a while till I get around to the farm to look.

Wow awsome! You are going to be a lifesafer if you do have one. Please let me know if you do and how much? My email is esco0502@msn.com.
I have added a pic of the piece in my picture file because I don't know how to add a pic into the post.

Thanks,
pablo
