Fuel Gauge/thermometer acting weird at the same time

I was hoping that someone might have run across this before. My fuel guage is reading erratically and at the same time the outside temp. display is reading very wrong. It says ICE when it's 70 outside. The fuel guage is also reading full when I only have 1/2 a tank. These both happen at the same time. The only common denominator is the fact that we bought a travel trailer about 3 weeks ago and I noticed it happening a few days after I towed it home. It is intermittant though. Sometimes it works okay, other times it acts up. I only drive the truck a few times a week. As always thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer. Tom

This is pretty wierd. My 99 started this funny business last Tuesday. Reading full of fuel and 44 degrees in the upper 80's.

On the last fill up, mine read full and only took 31 gals to top off. I haven't driven it this week but I only noticed it last week.

Look for a loose ground connection. I had an intermittent speedo problem due to a loose grounding lug on the frame.

Check the one just to the right of the under-steering wheel access panel. There are a couple of ground lugs you can see on the metal dash frame when you open the panel.
There is another in the drivers side footwell area. I can't pinpoint the spot but it could be around the PCM/emergency brake area.
