Unhappy No Start - 4.9L What to do next?

Please help. I have a 1991 e-150 with the 4.9L.

After sitting for a few months, would not start.

Round #1
Replaced both fuel pumps and filters, cleaned fuel tank...not dirty!
Result - Would only run a little when pump gas pedal.

Round #2
Replaced dist cap, rotor, plugs and wires.
Tested Egr, TPS, IAC - all tested good.
Result - Now wont start at all.

Round#3
Checked firing order, all wires for loose connections - all is good.

Round #4
Checked for codes - nothing (at least I think)
Actually started and ran while pumping gas pedal, black smoke and smelled of raw fuel.
Replaced O2 sensor
Final result - now will not start at all.

Anybody have an idea?? Please??

Bad fuel pressure regulator most likely, could be a bad/disconnected MAP sensor or IAT sensor.

I will try the fuel pressure regulator. I don't think this model has a MAP sensor but I could be wrong.

Anyone else have a thought???
