Unlock all doors

On our 2007 Expedition, I have to hit the door unlock button to unlock all doors when exiting, as opposed to most other Ford's I've had where the doors unlock when the drivers door is opened....is there a way to change this so all the doors unlock when the drivers door is opened? Did a quick read of the owners manual and didn't find anything, so just curious....

I don't think so. I assume for safety reasons this was disabled.

Works the same as my '02 Explorer. I had a Town Car that unlocked everything when I put it in Park. Horrible system I had disables (somehow -- been a long time!).

You should be able to enable this feature. I did it on my 08 Expedition. You cycle through the menu options until you get to auto unlock. It is disabled by default. At least it was on mine. Just hit the reset button and it should go to enabled. I would prefer the unlock occur on Park as my Honda Accord does, but I will take unlock on opening driver's door over none at all like my Chrysler Town & Country.

Not in my '07. I can disable AUTOLOCK, but there's no option for AUTO-UNLOCK in the control panel setup, nor do the doors auto-unlock ever.

It's possible to disable the automatic drivers door unlock. That's the feature that helps keep you from locking your keys in the car and unlocks the driver's door if you lock the open drivers door with the keys in the ignition. That's a sequence of lock/unlock presses, ignition on and off, etc.
