The new 'parentheses' front grille may take some getting used to, but overall it's a very nice and sturdy truck. I hope that 6.7L Diesel engine has minimal issues and also hope the power figures quoted are realistic. I also hope that the longer leaf springs will cure the porpoising on the freeways.
A 2012 or 2013 F350 King Ranch 4x4 could be in my future.

I have to admit I am a sucker and gullible. I am SOLD!! I can't put my finger on it, but even with the same style headlights the trucks looks infinately better than the 08-10 style. There are so many suttle feature changes it is unreal. I have experianced the Raptor seats and they are a freakin Lazy-Boy Compared to the 08 Super Duty seats in my 08. The Electonic locker is a sweet feature as well.
To the Manual trans die hards, I have to say- I love to shift my own gears too. My 500hp 2500lb 82 Merc Capri says so. But at the same time transmission technology has come a LONG way in a short time. So lets see- A manually controllable 6 speed vs a manually controllable 6 speed automatic? Used to be that the Manual was preferred due to reliability reasons. And with the E4OD/4R100 that was a legitimate argument. But that transmission was designed in the 80's for christ sake. In the newer trucks the 5R110 has been taking over 500hp and 1,000 ft-lbs of torque reliably. Long Story short- Computer experts used to be geeks and nerds and now make more $$$ than most of us. Time to move on with technology or be left behind.
Provided that Ford did its homework, and actually put the 6.7 through its real world paces this truck will be truck to have. That new nose really straddles the line well between looking suave and get the F out of my way!
