looking for 53 to 56 crew cab builders & owners
Looking for information on building a 1955 f-100 into a crew cab. I have not seen one in person only a few pictures from truck shows.I hope to make it to the supper nationals next year to see one up close. If anyone haves a completed truck or one in the building stage i would like to get information on what I'm getting into thanks.

I've been looking into this as well, though I think I'm going to take my truck a different route.
From my understanding you need two cabs. You can do an extended cab with one and some extra doors, but not a crew cab I don't think, least if you want a center pillar and to do it the easier way. The harder being no center pillar. The roof will need some special attention to do correct as well, you wouldn't want it to dip down in the middle or anything. There are a couple of people on here who have done it, I have some pictures of finished ones I'll try to get posted here if you're interested...

Keith_56_Cruz_Cab is the guy you want to talk to. This is his truck under construction. He is a lot farther along now and has it on the road.
