i keep saying how i'm using 84 ford 1/2 ton 4x4 spindles for caliper brackets . well here's a couple of pic's . the soapstone lines are only on their for a reference as to what they will be close to looking like when i'm done hacking 'em up . i have to cut off the upper and lower ball joint mounts , tie rod mounts , and have the inner hole enlarged slightly to fit over my spindle . i'll have a machine shop do it so it's dead on as this is something where close don't count . yeah i coulda bought brackets premade , but it's more fun to do it myself and use the noggin' every once in a while ............ oh and a pic of what followed me home from ohio too .Attachment 17778
