78 ford f150 4x4,351m c6.351M stock heads and block,edlebrk-1406 carb,and edlebrk performer intake no egr,headers,electri fans.That will give you some info on the motor.What IAM needing advise on is this*I got new MSD street fire cdi ignition box,msd street fire 8mm plug wires,msd blaster 2 coil is this okay for my setup?and I need advise on what brand or type of sprk plugs to run and at what gap?Last question I have is what to set my timing too?I know per stock 351m timing should be 14deg btdc.Need so info on what to set my timing at .Please if anyone good give there best shot any info I would really be thankful.

 

Come on FORD experts I know there somebody out there that could give me some much needed advise,also if you think that setup Iam wanting to do is junk please let me know I can just go back to my pertronics ignitior 1 and accell street coil 42,000 volt...Because thats what I thats what I was runnign before.

Thanks for the reply,but I bought the truck 3yrs ago and person I got it from had owned the truck sense 1983,he said no motor work had been done at all,so I assume cam stock but I was told it is a high duration cam,dist that was in it was from a older modle I think like a 74 or close,they said older truck they got it from had same motor just points still igin. bc he got tired of the factory box going out so they had coverted the truck to points.So when I first got it I ran the iginitor stage 1 with a accell 42000 volt coil.Hope I gave you info you were asking.Thanks
