JET Ford Module??

I have a '91 250 with a 5.8 & manual trans. My buddy has a JET Ford Module, Part# 89109 sitting around. Would it be worth putting on my truck? All I have is a K&N & an aftermarket exhaust..

Thanks

If it is free, it should be worth what you pay for it....

Most will tell you that they are no good... but I haven't dealt with them. If thats the right module, then sure, give it a shot like White 97 was saying. Remember you should run 89 octane with it. You may have just as much luck bumping the time, tough.

Let us know how it goes if you get it.

I say its good for a paper weight.

In my opinion chips TB spacers and CAIs are worthless.

Yeah. what was said above. dont waste your money. I just pulled on out of my lightning. All it did was advance the miming and make it ping. I took it out and set the timing to 14* and i runs a lot better and no more ping
