Kudos to TreadWright Tires

Back in July I bought a set of 31x10.5x15 MTGs from them Excellent tire, great off-road, lots of bite on-road, and good wet pavement handling. However, one had what I thought was a slow leak at the stem. My garage found that the tire wasn't seating properly on the rim, causing the slow leak. So, we just tubed it and left it at that. Then I sent Treadwright an e-mail detailing the problem, and someone actually called me two days later. After acertaining that it was, in fact, a tire problem, I was told a replacement tire was on the way. THAT'S customer service. This is the 5th set I've bought from them, and the first problem I've had. Needless to say, I'll keep on buying from them, Just thought I'd pass this along.

BTW, the set of 4 was just a hair over $400 to my door here in the U.P. I founf a shipping code on another site, so I'm sure you could, too.

I have heard some good reports about treadwright. My next set of tires may be from them.

I've gotten 30K+ out of one set before I gave them to a friend, never really checked on the others....the trucks I've had them on have been used as such, a LOT of offroad stuff, never had a puncture or sidewall failure, and I'm not very nice to my tires. They air down well, and I've never had a tread separation at all. I'll let you guys know how the MTGs do in the yooper winter....

Another kudo for TreadWright.

I bought a set of the AT-B's (BFG AT look-a-likes) for my F-150 in the 31 x 10.50 x 15 flavor.

Cost me just under $400 for all four shipped to VA. Got them in three days.

They actually all came on BFG casings too.

There is no way you can tell they are not "real" BFG AT's unless you look very closely and see the TreadWright DOT stamp.

Waiting for them to have the MT-G's (GY MT-R look-a-like) available again in a 33 x 12.50 x 15 for my Wrangler and the AT-R's (look like a B'stone Dueler REVO) in either a 30 x 9.50 or a 31 x 10.50 for my Grand Cherokee.

Very happy with the quality and level of customer service.

I had a set of mud terrains from them on the jeep cherokee I had before I had to upsize to my truck. They were GREAT in the mud,but as most mud tires,or maybe because the jeep was so light in the back, you weren't going anywhere fast on wet pavement or snow without locking it in 4wd. I have been thinking about getting another pair for my truck, but am torn between them and the interco trxus M/T.(price of the intercos is holding me back right now)

Well, I said I'd let you know how my 31x15s did in winter, and I can honestly say they're the BEST tire I've ever run in snow. 18" of snow/light ice mix, and I had complete trust in the tires...they didn't break loose once, and pulled great through 2.5/3 foot drifts. Best $400 I've ever spent, I think.

What are their shipping rates like? Hate to get a great price on tires only to have it eaten up in taxes and shipping.

Thank you,

C. M. Colfax, on an unrelated subject. Is the truck in the picture the '92 you list? Looks like what I think Old Rusty looked like when he was new.

I got four 31 x 10.50's delivered to VA for just under $400. Still cheaper than any other source for a comparable tire and size.

Yep. That's my 92. Bought it in July for $1000. All I did to it was stip off the previous owner's company decals and lettering and give the whole truck a washin' with Simple Green and water.
