I was thinking about getting a ranch hand bumper and had some questions.
1. How hard is it to mount
2. since these things are so heavy does it make the front of the truck sag
3. anyone know where to get a good deal on one

 

Not sure if he's still planning on having them made, but Clay at Riffraff Diesel previously had two custom bumpers fabbed up.

1) Not too bad if you've got help or a forklift
2) Not really. Maybe just a tad. I finally wore out my front springs at around 275k miles. The back springs went before that. I've had the bumper since the truck had 100 miles on it.
3) Depends on where you live. Ranch Hand has a few factory outlet stores. The will sometimes have a good deal on scratch and dent or returns.

I live in Illinois about 3 hours north of St.Louis mo. I tried to find a store around here that sells them or something like but cant find anything. I havent looked into what freight would cost from texas but ill check it out.

 

You search craigslist around STL.. I have found alot of good deals on there.. where you at in IL? I work alot in Jacksonville, taylorville, etc..

 

I live up by macomb its about 75 miles from Jacksonville.
