Can't post attachment/pictures here for some reason.
Go to Ford F150 View Forum - 2009 Ford F150
There are some pics there in my photo album or under the thread That I had installed the PW's and PDL's
Both installations were'nt to hard. Window kit uses existing crank mechanism. Only hole is for the switches.

I think its due to your post count. You should consider making a gallery here, and including those photos with your truck (or make a tech gallery). You can start that here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/user_gallery/session.php
Once they are saved up there, they give you the links to share the images in the forums if memory serves.

Gpm
Just back from a 4200 mile trip pulling a 2K trailer. 2009 F150 4X4 SC with tow. Total trip GPM was 19.4 at up to 75 mph. The 6 speed trans is just super for towing. No problems at all--this is a replacement for a 99 F150 4X4--what an upgrade! Did get up to 21.5 on flats, but most of trip was up and down mtns.

Bought a 2009 XL which was delivered in mid March of this year. Now that I've had it six months, I'm happy to report that it has not been to the dealer for anything. I've had no issues with the truck whatsoever. The truck has 6300 miles on it so far.
Am quite happy with the fuel economy. The truck gets a solid 17 mpg's around town, and just over 22 mpg's on the expressway. (It's a XL regular cab with 2WD, 4.6 liter 3V, and a 3.55:1 traction lock rear axle.)
Despite the fact that it's just an XL, it may very well be the quietest vehicle I've ever owned. I took the truck from the Detroit metro area to Quebec City and back in the spring. Even on that fairly long trip the cab was quite comfortable. All in all, for having spent just over $20,000 for a brand new American built vehicle I feel it's a great deal. I would do it again.

after 2 months my story is similar:
My Royal Red XL ... same reg cab, 8' box, same 4.6 3V engine same rear end same 22 mpg hwy, and about 18 around "town" of course I am south of detroit so town isn't really a city. Some options I really glad I have; the integrated trailer brake and the bed side step.
I gave up the 92 SC XLT for it, I miss the "wing glasses" on the 92 and the power lumbar, other than that I am impressed with how much the XL comes with, the stereo / MP3 player sounds alot nicer than I imagined it would.
I hope I never need the canopy and all the othe air bags that are standard.
