SonicElectronix.com!!! Best deals, Excellent customer service. If I remember they did not have photos of these units so make sure you double check the make year and model as these boxes are vehicle specific and fit like a glove.
They sound awesome too... good luck and keep us posted on your build....

found this thread from sonic electronix website. this is a great build, im doing a similar build, but since I have a E99 F250, my rear seat is drastically different. my seat cushion flips up towards the front and has a different bracket. unfortunately because of that different bracket, i cannot use that prefab box you have so looks like I am building my own.
Presently I have a old school Rockford Fosgate 800A2 amp. got it for a price i could not refuse. next is the subs. depending on what i can get away with cubes for a ported box inside that bracketed cage of a seat will dictate what size and which subs i can get. at this time looks like RE audio, Memphis or Alpine subs as of now. I am really liking the reviews on the JL door speakers, and i take it you love yours.

Hey Zombie,
Yeah, those JL Audio Components really are the dealmaker in my build. These things take whatever you throw at em and produce smooth, clean balance at all volumes.
Make sure to document your E99 build. The smallest details are usually the biggest help to others and Im sure it will serve as an excellent source of inspiration and encouragement for other E99 owners. Sombody has to set the stage.... may as well be you.
I look forward to following your build.

If you want to retain the AWESOME flat cargo deck / folding rear seat on a '99 super cab, your options are really, really slim. Like 2" of space slim....
I ended up with a 4th order bandpass enclosure under the bed with the vent ducted to under the rear seat. Takes 0 volume inside the cab and sounds fantastic.
But 4th order enclosures require precise design and construction to sound good. Done perfectly, they are fantastic and very efficient. One little flaw in either enclosure or the vent and they sound horrible.

There are some pics of the enclosure and mounting bracket in my gallery. The box was fiberglassed and painted black so things were hard to make out once mounted. The vent tube is black 4" sewer pipe and also photographed badly. It runs forward from the enclosure, makes a kink to the side, and then a 90 degree turn up and then is glued into a toilet flange siliconed into the floorboard under the rear seat so the floor remains sealed. Did have to cut a 4.5" hole in floor. Getting the tube the EXACT right volume with those bends required a lot of calculations and T&E. The tube volume is critical on 4th order, as is the volume of both chambers. All the tube joints were put together with silicone so it has a little give since the cab can shift around a bit. The bracket holding the enclosure to the frame is slightly flexible for the same reason.

Yeah, I know it's an old thread, but it's a good one!
Do you have pics of these 8" subs in the rear doors? How do they sound? I like that idea instead of giving up what little space there is under the rear seat.
I also wondered about putting a single sub under the front center seat.

Here are the pics. Sound deadening looks poor because I was using up a bunch of scraps I had. Inside door is RAAMat and some 1" think visco-elastic foam. On the door surface is RAAMat and RAAMat Ensolite. I thought I would eventually put a 10 or 12 in a sealed custom enclosure built into the middle front seat, but these sound so good I'm happy with just the 8s. Note, these subs are rated for free-air use, so a good enclosure wasn't necessary, I just needed to stop the rattles and resonance in the doors.

CommercialRig,
Just wanted to add a comment to this thread. I have always wanted to squeeze a sub behind the rear seat of my 2002 Supercab. Everyone states it couldn't be done but I figured you could modify the cage to fit something back there.
While researching this, I found your thread and you did pretty much exactly what I had in mind with cutting the cage. After a LOT of measuring and planning, I finally took on the challenge and I was able to get it all to work!!! This is the first sub I have seen behind a Superduty Supercab rear seat!!
