F150 suspension upgrade questions

Hey Guys,
2000 F150 2wd 165,000miles.
I am likely only going to drive this truck for another 10,000 miles or so as a daily driver before it becomes a ranch truck. I took it to get aligned and was told the ball joints are worn out - (this is the second time around). So I decided it would be a fun project to give the truck one last makeover before it becomes a full time ranch truck in the form of a suspension upgrade. So I am looking for some advice on a few issues I am pondering.

1. I know I am going to replace ball joints, but I was also considering lifting the truck 2" for some improved ground clearance while I'm down there. I was thinking spacer, but the more I thought about it, I figured my springs are pretty worn out as is. Is that sound right for a truck with 165,000 miles? If so, is there a company out there that makes replacement springs with 2" of lift.

2. Is it really worth it for me to dive into replacing steering components such as idler arm, pitman arm, tie rod ends when the truck is spending most of its remaining life off road?

3. Was also going to do some blocks on the back to lift sagging springs a couple inches for the same increased ground clearance. Suggestions on some 2" blocks for the rear?

Sorry for the long post. Thanks for the help
