I know it's a little late, but I was just curious on what you guys are doing tommorow to celebrate the day of no labor
Jamie and I are going to fix some fence and do some more touch up on the interior of the house. Then we are going to Chapman and check out their Labor Day parade.
Dunno... Isabelle is getting her 5 year pictures taken, Maddie and I are going to hang out and I may try to do some fun things with her.
Julie's parents are coming down to look at a scooter for sale, and will hang out with them for a while.
Did some odd jobs around the garage and on vehicles this morning and then went fishing and drowned some worms this afternoon. We didn't catch much, just a couple of small bass (the little one was almost as big as the worm he swallowed) a few bluegill. Still it was relaxing and then we went and had supper with our daughter and her family.
Fixed most of the fence and cleaned up a coupe more boxes inside the house. Didn't manage to get to Chapman, but it was nice actually staying at the house all day long instead of running all over the place.
Now to polish off this 3-day workweek and get back to the grind at home
Fixed a few hundred feety of fence, moved a few dozen blocks, towed an old wheat truck across the farm (and fought off the wasps and bees), welded a muffler bracket, loaded up an old used riding lawnmower, (more wasps- Nephew got stung) added trailer lights to the escape, Cut down a few branches, and basically visited with family.
Then went to the MIL's and listened to how hard it was for 4 adults to take care of one baby.
