My headmans on my 250 hit the driveshaft, so i had to heat them up and bend them a little

The Flowtechs didn't hit anything on my truck but they hang so low it's difficult to get the pipes up over the tranny crossmember. They have 1.5" primaries and 2.5" collector which is plenty for a 5.0, they improve flow so much the motor runs full lean it idle and stumbles like it has big nasty cam.

i agree with what was said about the flowtechs they do hang really low and you have to chop your exhaust all up to get it to fit right but they are awesome headers

I have a 150 302 2wd & use the headman elite headers LT with 1 1/2 primarys. They fit nice, just a slight upward turn to get over the crossmember .. Lew

No I have an automatic but the headers would probably clear a manual linkage no problem. Pic say it all...

Yeah the weird thing is the 10 yr old 5.8 Flowtech headers I had fit the truck much better.. didn't come as far back and were a couple inches higher. It's not exactly the same angle but here are the old 5.8 headers... just barely visible under the frame

I too have the Flowtech headers but mine don't hang down as low as in Conanski's pictures. I bought mine in December of 2008. When I was putting them on I assumed I would just snake the pipe under the crossmember, but after I put them on the collector was basically right in the middle of the crossmember, just a little bit on the higher side so i put the pipe above the crossmember. The collector was pretty close to the crossmember but I was still able to get it bent to go over. Aside from that they seem to be pretty good headers for the price.

...No my headers are about 2in higher & not as long so the bend in the pipe is less to go over the crossmember ...Lew
