Need a 51 8 Ft Express Bed in "Good Shape?"

Hi guys,

I was browsing through ebay last night looking for shoes and as usual ended up in 48-52 truck parts.

There is a guy with a flathead listed, but as you read down his listing he mentions he also has an F3 Bed in good condition he will sell.

I wrote to him because I know those are getting hard to find, and he said he'd sell it for $300. He's in Angel Fire New Mexico (NE corner I think). Here is the listing for the flathead and his seller info:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...TQ:MOTORS:1123

And here is his contact info he sent me:

email;; p_solvers@msn.com phone 305-613-3154

With all the Bonus Built "Express Bed" needs I hope this will help someone!

Good Luck!

I browse ebay myself, and though I start with F1 parts, I usually end up looking at shoes. Lol, sorry, Julie, I just thought that was funny.

The 8' beds are getting scarce as well as their running boards. It still bothers me a coworker was cutting one up to make a ratrod.

Do you know off hand what the wheelbase of an F3 with an 8' bed is?

That's about 2.5 hours north of Albuquerque. If someone is interested let me know. But Angel Fire is up in the mountains and fairly wet, I'd suspect it could be rusty.

Yes wheelbase is 122", I know 8 footers are hard to come by. I have one in rough shape that I was going to use on my F-3 until I got a hold of the utility box. I keep thinking I may still fix it up and find another truck to use it on.
