Hey guys it took what felt like forever to get my membership activated. But, with all of the things that have gone on at FTE, in Kens personal life and Motor Haven if I were Ken I would have one of those self hugging jackets (Straightjacket). No, actually I would have said that FTE would have to go as family is the most important.

I signed up 8 weeks ago, and have been patiently waiting for my membership to take effect. Then we get notified that ALL MEMBERSHIPS have been completed! I checked and my membership was still not done. At this point I figured my membership may have been lost.

What would you do, just sit back and say nothing?

I took it as, you didn't understand why that is.
It was admitted by Ken, that it takes to long for the process.
The upgrades are to quicken the system.The system has to be redone and they are in the process of changing the server.Nevermind all the other things that have gone on.

I didn't think anyone was freaking out.

I tried to also get across, there is a difference between a member being " Set up" than there is to a " Member's activation of computer access for FTE benefit's" ie:
Website,FTE Member on posts, etc

Usually the activation follows the personal E-Mail you receive saying
" you are now able to access FTE Member sections".


Here is an example of what I'm talking about.


Your Club FTE account has been set up!

Your user id: mil1ion
Your password:
(Note: these are all lower-case characters




You now have access to the Club FTE sections of the Ford Truck Enthusiasts message boards. Your membership card and t-shirt (if you ordered one) has been mailed to you.

I HATE to be a bother, i know how busy Ken is so i try to avoid being a hassle but, what should i do if i havn't gotten my membership stuff yet? The confirmation e-mail when i sent my info in was sent on the 9th of april. I know how busy he is, so i waited patiently, but now i'm thinking mine got lost, so what should we all do if we havn't gotten it yet?


Primary rig is:
95' F-150 XLT 4x4, 302, 5 spd, MSD 6A, Sunroof, and some 32" BFG Muds .

Pictures are in!!


Then theres:
99' Mustang GT 4.6L
88' F-250 Superduty 4x4 351/c6
95' Mercury Cougar 4.6L V-8
80' E-350 300/6 with a
3 spd column shifter. Top speed is 65mph, Go Baby Go!

 

As I understand how this works is:
The confirmation e-mail you received is just that.

They know who you are what your order is and they will have it all ready for processing to be " Set-up" then the long and labourous task of setting up a membership card,bumpersticker who gets a t-shirt (if ordered) other merchandise while Possibly someone else is In-putting all the information into the computer data banks and then programming Everyone in the the special FTE Club area.

When it wasn't busy it took for about 18 days from the confirmation.
I have NO IDEA how it will take but I assure everyone that they (FTE Staff) are working their tails off with this.

I know how frustrating this can be!

All I can suggest,is to be as patient as possible during the wait.

It really is well worth it.

Just an FYI, I'm spending the weekend to get this all completed and to finalyze everything John did. Dennis is correct, we're ARE going to get this completed this weekend.

All members setup, sending out an email merge tonight with the membership email. Any delayed packages start shipping thoughout this week.

There are a handful of users who are NOT completely setup. These are due to either invalid ids (start with a number or contain an illegal character such as "&"), ids that cannot be found in the message boards, users who registered 2 or more ids in the message boards and we don't know how to match up their registration, users who gave NO membership information and we can't match them up to the message boards, users who registered on the form via check but never paid, declined credit cards and users that we cannot verify (ie, they paid by check but NEVER submitted an online form stating they were paying by check).

Any user falling into any of the above categories will be contacted in the next couple of days. All others should receive an email in the next 24 hours, even if you previously received a welcome email. If you do not get an email within 24 hours, PLEASE email me at . Chances are that the outbound email to you may have bounced if you don't get an email in 24 hours.

 

Emails sent. Out of 260, we had 24 emails bounce. We will attempt to find an alternative way of contacting those users.

Looks like we have a problem....

You say you got yours but I don't see "Club FTE Member" under your account. I also no longer show Centurion_bronco in the user file.

My best guess is you are Jeff S. and you had more than one registration and duplicates got removed. If this is so, then your account "4drbrnko" should work on the boards. Let me know, so I can merge your posts from Centurion_bronco with 4drbrnko.
