Do these engines have a pyrometer molunte din the exhaust somewhere?

Do these engines have a pyrometer molunte din the exhaust somewhere?

If so, Where is it located? Just curious how the aftermarket deals monitor the EGT. Was hoping the truck has a pyro already and all you need to do is plug in the display.

Yes, there are multiple exhaust temp sensors. Some of the aftermarket products take advantage of them and some don't.

yeah man if you just wanna watch egts you can get like an edge insight or some type of monitor. there are 3 egt sensors one before cat one after cat and one after dpf. that i know of. there may be some in or around the turbo's and egr but i only know bout the ones i replaced deleting the cat/dpf.
