I have a hoist and an engine stand. I just need to find someone with a tripod to lift it.

Hopefully the tranny is in good shape and I wont have to rebuild that too, but I'm rebuilding the engine.

Then it's removing the cab and start buying parts.

Try posting in the neighboring states for a engine hoist, I'm sure someone has one that's willing to lend a hand.

I think I've gone out four or five times today just to look at it... excited that I finally dropped the pan, not to mention texted everyone I know (over half of which really didn't care, and only one felt my elation).
It's been a good day

How is everyone?

Hey Alicia...isn't it great feeling of accomplishment....but as you know there will be others as you proceed through the restoration. Kind of like life.....going out 4 or 5 times is the smell of success, enjoy.....

Absolutely Steve, most of it is pretty gravy, but every once in a while there is a part like this that is stubborn or difficult. Without the lows there aren't highs and it wouldn't be exciting. I'll take them both... along with a martini

Alicia, you have to clear some of your message storage space, you've exceeded your quota and can't get PM's anymore....
