What kind of beer do you drink ??

This came up in another thread and I thought that it deserves its own thread.

We could use this as a "wine tasting" but instead it will be beer.

So let the taps start flowing and belly up to the bar

I will start this off by stating that my usual beverage of choice is Michelob Amber Bock. Yengling, Mich Light, Bud, Labatt's Blue and the occassional Molson are also consumed.

Oh I almost forget,,, Sam Adams.

I've never heard of it either and I'm from Canada. I don't normally drink Canadian beer anyhow. I like Corona and some of the US brands that are made there. Not the Canadian copies.

Marc, what is Labatts Blue Dry Max?? Never heard of it.

It is a Labatt Blue Dry that has been hopped up on steriods and apparently was made for the southern redneck population, it is 14%alcohol content, and available at most ABC stores here. Brewed and bottled in VA.
Normal Labatt blue dry is about 6.1% as brewed and bottled in Montreal/Toronto/Vancouver.

My preference in 'yankee' beer is Coors and Sam Adams for cutting the lawn, MGD for sitting around, and when we get serious I crack open my reserves from Canada, Sleeman Honey Brown, Sleeman Draught, Molson Export, and Labatt Blue Dry. My everyday beer would be Corona and Landshark just for wetting the whistle.

Glad to start something that we can all enjoy.

Nah, beer radar was on, I was at hospital last nite to see a friend who will be stuck there for another 3-4days (pnemonia + dehydrated) and got home tired and went to bed.

Will add the French and German beers to the list shortly, just have to go home and look at my bottle/can collection.

Enjoy the day

Thanks Neil, will convey to my buddy. Now I remembered I had posted this on Club FTE and it is appropriate for this here new link you started.

Canadian Humour

One day the president of Budweiser, Corona and Molson were sitting at a bar.
The bartender approached and asked for their orders;
The president of Budweiser replied give me the king of beers, the president of Corona ordered a tall cold long neck of Corona, and the president of Molson ordered a coke. When the drinks arrived the other two presidents asked in surprise are you driving tonite? To which the president of Molson's replied no, I figured since you were both ordering soft drinks I would have one too.

At home, Natural light, unless something's cheaper. If I'm out, and they got it, Peroni (Italian beer).

Wow, lucas. I haven't had Natty Light since college.

For me it is Bud, Bud Light, Labatt Blue, Labatt Blue Light, Yuengling, and the occasional Coors Light if at someone else's party. I also dabble in the local micro brews from a couple of brew pubs here in Albany/Troy.

Hmm...Lets see...My normal beer is Bud Light, preferably bottles. I also enjoy a corona now and then (the only beer that should have fruit in it, in my opinion). I also like Red Stripe from Jamaica. There are a few others, but can't remember them right off hand!
