In May....we had good weather. Last week we had 90*'s for 3 days...not summer, weasel temps.
This week may be ok but it's still Sept.
June, July, and August.........wet crap. If I die tomorrw....I'll not forget the terrible summer...dammit.

Evening all. I missed out being on here all day yesterday. We had my daughter's 6th b-day party yesterday before school starts since it's on the 24th. Her mother thought that would be easier. I guess it was; whatever. After that I spent time setting up a landing zone for a Medi-vac. Some guy working in the local school fell 30' from the top of the scaffolding. Then 3 hours in the evening at the FD officers meeting. I was busy now that I think about it.
Hi Carl, sounds like you're in a good mood today. Got back last night from Virginia, filled up both tanks in Martinsville at $2.339/gal. "Only" $300 in gas for the round trip. Guess I won't be going anywhere else for a while.
What's funny, Shaun, is that I didn't think about it until I was typing. I failed to mention that we had another call that I couldn't make because the kids had soccer practice. I will say that the (7) 6yo girls had me pretty well worn out after the party.
