Stripping the top of the hood today. Wish I could have gotten this one dipped like the last one. This is a lot of work!

And done. Now give it a spritz of zinc phosphate to keep it from corroding, want to primer it in the next day or so, depending on the weather.

One of the things I love most on these '67-'72 F-100's is that hood. It's amazing. And big! Good luck...

Very big. A pain to move around! So, after priming this thing, I'm noticing a TON of hail dents. So, since I have two hoods, this is going to come down to which one should I repair. The original one was dipped, and therefore, clean. The one I just got was not, and I know theres some hidden rust in there. But, just have to figure which one to fix, and which one to cut up for parts for the other!
