About time you get to work on this again.....lol.

I still have electrical to finish running for my air compressor - just got too many irons in the fire at the moment.

Traded straight across for my 33 gallon compressor. And this one has barely ever been used.

Well, after much waiting....PROGRESS! The drivers side rocker, at the front where the front fender bolts on, was trashed, along with the bracket that holds the nut for the fender bolt. So, hacked off the end of the rocker, and fabbed up a new peice out of 16 ga. Then, using the opposite side as a template, fabbed a new bracket for the fender bolt. That bracket was a PITA to recreate! Still have a little tweaking to do to get it perfect, but it's close.

Looks good! Better than I can do, for sure...metal fab is not my specialty!

So I ran into a small snag after cutting out the bad section of cab support. Found the rocker had also rotted where the support was.

A little welding, a little grinding...good to go! I'll put some body filler on it later to perfectly blend it in.

Got the cab support section cut out, what a mess. Had to take a hose and clean out all of the dirt/crap on the other end of the support. I plan on using Eastwood's frame coating inside the support when it's back together.

New peice from Dennis Carpenter, cut to size. Had to do a little finessing to get it to fit right. But, my weld-through primer seems to have disappeared (probably the kids), and I have to see if I can find some here in town, otherwise I'll have to order more through Eastwood. That would suck.

Looks good, Pat. Rust is such a pain, but that Eastwood stuff is supposed to be good stuff.
