Awesome, an opportunity to save some $$$$. Guess like a couple of others have said, I will come up for the day, check the trucks for ideas, check the swap meet, and then head for home.

Looks like it will hold more trucks than the Grand did. Their is a walking trail that a person could take to get back to the Grand if they decided to leave their truck in the lot. This last photo is in the far Northwest corner looking up toward one of main entrances. The would be to the right looking at this photo right behind the trees at the other end of the parking lot
Is it possible for someone with access to Google Earth to post a picture so we can have a Better Idea of its location. There are so many new areas particularly east (?) of PF being developed. Smokie Shadows is definitely in the "older" part of town but sometimes "oldies are goodies"

Bruce, the "A" is the Grand Resort where the the last Pigeon Forge F100 Nationals was held in 03. If you look above and to the left you will see two areas that look like dirt fields surrounded by Jake Thomas Road and Teaster Lane. That is now where this parking lot now sits. Basically Traffic light 5 which has a Walgreens on one corner and a Pigeon Forge welcome center on the other.

Not a bad location at all. Walking distance from the main drag (sometimes its faster to walk then sit in that bumper 2 bumper traffic). Is this parking lot set up just for car shows or are they building another dinner theater next to it?

Bruce,
Right there is just a huge parking lot. I did not see anything else being built.

Looks to be a good location. Wonder if some of the vendors who haven't been coming to the show lately (like Ford Racing) are going to make the trip now? Hopefully it'll be a change for the better and "night cruisin' the strip" will be back in style. Count me in!

Don't forget your pop-ups, there doesn't appear to be any shade there. (Us Arizona guys always look for that)

I'm still unsure if I'll register and take the truck, or if I'll just go spectate. Although 15 years ago when I first got a taste of this it was always a dream to register for the F100 Supernationals.

Wait... that dream was for the F100 Supernationals...not Supernationals and ALL Ford show. Naaah, probably won't register...I'll wait til the Smokey Mtn show.
