I think it will be a good truck to run around in and keep the miles off your PSD.Most of the time if an older/retired person has a vehicle it has been well maintained and not driven very hard.I beleive the price is pretty close.
LOL -- I agree, Rick. Let's see... I've had an 84 Mustang GT Conv (swapped a 351W into that bad boy), my roomie drove an 88 Ranger Long bed, we both had 92 Ranger work trucks, then I had an 87 V6 BroncoII, 2000 Ranger, and now my PSD. I have owned nothing but Fords for all my adult life, and I don't regret it one bit. Going back further, my Grandfather had two Rancheros (my younger brother got the last one). Then my bro had a couple F150s, a V10 F250, Ranger, F150 SuperCrew, and now a SporTrac. We converted my folks from GM to Ford. They had a V8 Explorer Limited that my Dad wrecked when someone pulled right in front of him. That was a SWEET truck!! 5.0L Mustang motor in it! Now they have a Navigator. So I guess you could say we've owned our fair share of Ford trucks -- I can honestly say none of us have regretted it one bit!
Thanks Pat. I really wasn't looking for a truck, but this thing was in such good shape, my wife told me to get it. . So I have the money sitting here and waiting for 4:00 to do the paper work. In fact, the guy that has the truck called me a few mins ago to make sure I wanted it. He said if I don't he has another guy that wants it. He comes in the store all the time, so I know he will not sell it out from under me. The next store from me is 25 miles away, so I am sure he is thinking about that.
good deal Rick, i have a 01 ranger with 128,00. that i bought for doing side work and when fuel was 5.00 a gallon the ranger got driven a lot. the other good thing is that if i need to work on the F350 no big deal just drive the ranger
Yeah, that could most certainly be an issue if he sells it on you. But boy I bet the revenge would be fun.
Yep.

Rick doesnt sound like you can go wrong to me either... Mine has 128k on it and still ticking and shes a 03'. Plus the fact like you said you have something if you wanna take the BIG truck down for a few then you still have a way around..... I love mine and havent had to do anything except fluid changes and a battery which lasted 6.5 years.....
