I sold a 91 with a 7.3 with well over 200000 mi. and he used it to haul his stuff from Wi. to Alaska. I just sold a 95 stroker with well over 200000 mi and would have no problem taking it to Alaska also. Just bought an 01 with 179000 mi and didn't feel any concern about the miles just how it was taken care of. A vehicle with 40000mi that hasn't been taken care of would give me greater concern. GODD LUCK!!

Brand new tires would be a red flag for me. The wear on the tires show suspension problems. New tires could hide them. Why would someone put new tires on a truck they were selling? New tires are $600-1000. You would not get that money back.
