What Are You Doing To Your Truck?

Spoke to our local maestro about my electrical issue at breakfast.
Got 'em up and going again! Thanks Justin.
If you must know the details, the bulbs have been slowly going on these. I think they 'age' out because I don't have that many hours on them. If you have a set, don't be surprised by the $25/bulb cost... (alas, not available at HF ).
Everyone is going LED now, but I still like my ole hand warmers on chilly CA nights.
Issue? uh, yeah, seems I've forgotten the left dash toggle turns on the right side lights. Forgot to turn on the correct switch.

I bought a 1978 F100 2 weeks ago today, drove it back 30 miles from Upland to Pasadena. The idle was set high too high just to keep it running.
In the last 2 weeks, I rebuilt the carb, fixed some vacuum lines, replaced a broken pvs, new distributor, cap n rotor, plugs n wires, oil n filter, cleaned the egr, this n that.
Took her in and passed smog legally today.

I wish it was in as good of shape as these pics make it look. There isn't a straight panel on it, and a large dent on the driver's side cab that runs vertically. I am 99% about mechanical and meh about looks.
The ultimate goal was to get something that gets from A to B.
A previous owner shoved bondo in the drip rails, and then used what looks likes house paint, from the drips, to paint it.

I sold my daughter's Neon, gave her the Ranger to drive, and used the cash to buy the '78. Ultimately I want to get back into a 78/79 4x4. This engine is turning out to run a lot better than I had expected, and all of the smog and vac lines are now hooked up right.
This is a stepping stone to a 4x4

My DD and SIL got me a pair of headlights for the SD. Installed those this morning, will have to check and adjust aim tonight after dark.
And while I had the grille off, cleaned the entomology collection off the AC condenser. Road trip next week, so good timing.
Before;
After; Funny thing, my cell phone will focus on a dirty radiator surface, but not when cleaned.

Yeah, the old ones were getting, old. I never really noticed, until the kids brought it to my attention. I'm sure they could have been polished out. But new ones will all new sockets and bulbs were a nice surprise.
I adjusted them last night. A first for me. I've never had to mess with that on anything I've owned. Ford only designed vertical adjustment into this aerodynamic model.
Now I need a new grille and badge. The new lights just made the old parts look worse.

Don't own this truck, but i get to work on it and drive it now and then. Doin a set of pads and one new rotor on the rear. Caliper froze ate up the outside pad and wasent caught before it ate the rotor.

Does working on my E350 count as a truck?
van had a 4way flat plug tied up under the body, but never had a tow package. So ive added a 12k lb hitch and now im completeing the 7way plug and makeing sure the factory wireing and relays are working for the brake controler, etc. One nice perk is the plug under the dash is the same as my pickup! Yay one controler for 2 vehicles.
anyways, since sourceing the oem harness for a 95 van is difficult, and the same harness from a like model year truck does not match up (found that out after i cut a 2-1/4" hole in my bumper). i figgured id cut of the 95' plugs and update to current oem standard which will make plug replacements easyer if it happens to get broken.
also adding some LED flood lights to the back to aid in reverseing dutys and hitching trailers at night.
also since i have all this trailer/towing stuff out i verified the 7way functions on my pickup.
