Well I have some good news. Quit my job, moving to Texas this week, my Ford, after all the up hill battles, finally fired, ran, and sounds mean as ****. Truck has some serious *****, took it out for the first voyage today. Tomorrow Ill run it a little harder to see if any issues arise but I dont think they will since it idled for an hour Friday, and 30 minutes Thursday, and today almost all day collectively.

Purchased my rig and did a few things to improve the looks and functionality.

- It came with some nasty painted black bumpers so I had those LineX'd with the bed and the outer grille shell. Rear still has BU sensors.
- Installed a bed bar for my dirt bikes that I use more as a tie down rack.
- Installed one of those tailgate assist things to drop it with one hand.
- Upgraded OEM dash unit to a Pioneer DVD/CD bluetooth and all that.
- Added a small powered sub beneath the rear seat.
- Installed 20" LED light bar where my fogs were missing.
- Installed LED lights under rear of truck to assist at night with trailer hook up. Don't help in backing so will be changing these to a bumper surface mount.
- Added a rearview camera license plate frame.
- Added a 7" monitor to sunvisor to wirelessly connect to rearview camera on trailer...work in progress
- Installed under bed rail LED lights with waterproof switch in bed.
- Installing RAM mount at A-pillar mounting location for 7" tablet to monitor Torque App PID's
- Replaced a couple injectors, GPCM, ICP, cleaned EGR, resealed other injectors, cleaned sensors......

- TO DO.....high temp stat, coolant filter set up, battery cable upgrade (being shipped), and some other things I can't think of right now

Got this idea from BP a while back. My daily driver hit 200k and it's time.

Sure is easier compared to the 10 banger.

Ford has a special grease for that slip spline. I just used regular grease in mine too. Now a few years later, it is doing that slip-stick polka again. I suppose it would have eventually anyway.

Just go grab what you need. Jamie can get you into the garage. Just call her. Text me if you need her number. Man, I wish I could be two places at once and go along.

well, moved to texas, my Ford looks like this. Ready for body work. Bought another truck, lost my chick, reclaimed some property, moved to a new place.

Picture is from my garage, on my property

Talk about 'round tuit', I got these gauges in 2011...finally installing.

Reading the odo, maybe it's too late to monitor temps?

Would be nice to have exterior temp too...

3 gauge pod - what temps do you plan to monitor?

Can't quite tell what's going on with that gauge in the first pic.

Tranny, oil, rear diff. The lower gauge/switch is the Viair onboard compressor I installed in 2010. Once I had the 3 gauges installed and working, the compressor stopped working. I need to track down the wire I disturbed.

I once stuffed steel wool down the throat of a horn we had at work, which we thought was too loud. Worked pretty good to knock the sound down. Other than that, I'm not sure what the question is. You either want a loud horn, and damned the neighbors, or you get a stock horn.

There are plenty of youtube prank videos with air horns. I hope that's not your goal John.
