Sean is tearing up this thread!

I am at a stand still on mine. I am doing a bit of sanding, but most of the time I am working on procrastination spreadsheets, bar graphs and pie charts on how to avoid sanding. I must be doing it right because I ended up making pie charts about my favorite bars, and bar graphs about my favorite pies.

I pulled the engine and the block is currently at the machine shop, my first ever attempt at rebuilding. I am giving the guy $50 per week, lol, so I am not sure it will ever get done.

Good times

Procrastination at its finest. I had my dodge down all last week, and the ford was at a stand still. Suck weather and I got sick as ****

Aftermarket bumper, but I found a good place to mount it on the inside.

Yup. The -252 is the give-away.

Thanks to Roland [Mueckster] for suggesting the use of this trans-specific filter.

Finally got my engine/trans mated and into the truck. This was the hardest part of this restoration, and its finally over now. Not really hard for me, just the headache of taking back out several times and the origional engine being shot and all that good jazz. Oh well. Body work will take me no time. Bed is coming once the driveshaft is bad and in the truck and it becomes mobile.

Came across this thread.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1287088-re-sealing-the-windshield.html

The thick black rubber molding that goes around my windshield is rolling up on the driver's top. I always get leaks on that side when I wash (hose down) the truck. The windshield itself is fine.

Does someone have a windshield shop in the SFV that they recommend? I haven't heard the greatest things about Safelite.

Catching up on 6L diesel maintenance today.

Changed the oil using Rotella-T 15W40, sweetened with 16oz of Archoil 9100.

Flushed the coolant with 20gals of distilled water, and refilled with Zerex ELC. The red stuff. New thermostat. Replaced the coolant filter element. New degas cap.

Knocked off because the day, and the engine, was getting hot. Tomorrow I'll pull the EGR valve, clean it up, and install new O-rings.

Hello my new Cali friends. I give you my engine. Fired up and pissed the neighbors off early Saturday morning.

For now. Until I fabricate each side, 2.5 inch, single chamber each side, SRT8 Grand Cherokee tips. I will use about 3 feet of pipe each side. Should be a wicked sumbitch

The two happiest days of a boat owner: When they buy it, when they sell it.

A boat is a hole in the water that you pour money into.
