1969 Lifted 4x4 steering problem
I have a Superlift 4" with the new adjustable Track bar and it seemed to makr the steering to the right even worse. What is the fix for this because I can not seem to find drop pitman arm or adjustable steering link. Please help if any body knows because it sucks if I have anybody behind me turning right because I have to back up to make the turn. Thanks for all info!!!

Which style steering do you have? Inverted "t" or inverted "y"? Since you have a trac bar, this would indicate that you have a 1/2 ton truck and not an F250 correct?
Inverted "Y" steering can be difficult to find parts for, and this can be changed to inverted "T" style. Your problem is that the drag link us too short now and it limits the turning radius to one side, but turns like mad to the other.
Undoubtedly the steering wheel is also crooked.

1969 F100 Steering problem
You are correct on the steering problem and my drag link is to short. I was hoping that I could just buy a pitman arm and call it good or a longer drag like and cannot find either. How do I go about converting it to the T style. Thank you for your time and help. I am still trying to figure out how to put a picture on this forum. I have never used a forum before so it will take me a little time to navigate. Thanks Ken

Your dana 44 front axle should be able to accomodate later model f150 or even 78/9 bronco components.
Inverted "T" has a drag link that attaches from the pitman arm to a tie rod. In this case the tie rod is a solid (well it is adjustable) piece that connects the two knuckles together. The drag link then attaches to this on the pass side of the vehicle.
Inverter "Y" design has a drag link that connects from the pitman arm to the pass side knuckle, and another link that connects the drag link to the driver side knuckle. This forms a funny looking "Y", hence the term.
The inverted "Y" design is not desirable and the aftermarket does not support this very well. Inverter "T" is a much better design and is used on current vehicles, and is very much supportted by the aftermerket.
Knowing a little more about your truck would help some as we try to continue some feedback on a solution for your problem.
With the limited description that I have provided do you know which style steering that you currently have?
Do you have power steering?
Here is a pic of a 79 Bronco with inverted "T" steering. Here you can see the drag link that connects to the tie rod on the pass side:

1969 F100 4x4 Steering problem
Ok I have the parts brake down of both my truck with out power steering and the diagram of the 78-79 F150 and Bronco. I see how it is interchangable but I notice that the Center Link going from the pitman arm is also not adjustable. S what I need to know is if the dropped pitman arm off of a 78-79 F150 with manual steering will work on my gear box? If not what is it that I can do with this conversion to make it work. I have looked on the after market and could not find the adjustable center link and I want to be sure I do not buy something I can't or don't need. I appreciate all your help and will try to figure out how to get some pictures of this truck on the forum. It is all factory except the lift and is still under 80,000 miles and an Arizona truck. Thanks again for any help in this FIX.
