does anyone know if a 36" or longer glasspack is available to fit 2 1/4" pipe? also, does anyone think that two would fit easily between the frame rails on a 4x4 truck?
I don't think the diameter of the muffler matters, you just use a step up and step down on either side to get to your 2 1/4" pipe. I don't exactly know what you mean by fitting between the frame rails though.
That doesn't make any sense lol, they will not fit width wise in the frame... Height wise you would have room but then where are you going to mount the pipes? Plus that close you could have a lot of vibration, and imagine all of the mud and crap that would get caught up in there and be impossible to clean out. And if you ever needed to drop your exhaust to get at something you would have to completely unbolt it from the manifolds instead of just loosening the hangers.
Well the dudes that did my exhaust ran both pipes down the passanger side. I have 2 glass packs (short ones) side by side in betwee the passanger frame rail and the transfer case. Then the pipes go 90 deg and exit out in front of both rear tires. Maybe that helps, however mine has the divorced t-case set up.
Then why did you ask get a measuring tape and figure it out pal roo if you already have this set up figure out how long your current packs are split the difference and measure if they fit they fint if the don't ohh well
well it depends on where he is talking hoss. maybe he wants them one to each side, maybe he is talking about something completely different? who the hell really knows at this point
