new toy...1966 f 500 boom truck

runs great... shifts good... stops...not at all....
flat towed it home yesterday 35 miles (1 new tire...5 antique tires)....made it home with no major traffic fatalities....its been being used to pull logs out of the Columbia river since 1977...so....the odometer reads 46000 miles ....that could be all...might be 146000....hard to say but it has not been tagged since 1977 so....ill just drag logs around on my place with it.....gotta see about the brakes....ive been told they are expensive.....guess ill find out....ill post a few pics

Yep it wont be cheap. I bought a 64 F700 gin pole/winch truck that had been yard truck. After booster and 8 new wheel cyl and master cyl kit it stops better than runs. At least wasnt dreaded Midland system on booster/master cyl.
