Confirmed. Saturday, 9 a.m., Dave Sr.s house.

I'll bring my impact gun and tranny jack..........

If one of you gentlemen with a Supertuner would bring it along.....I'd like to scan the wifes Navigator. It's got a code than my scanner won't pull.

I won't be able to make it this weekend.

We made reservations at Branson, and yesterday we all came down with the stomach sickness. And to top it off the reservations can't be canceled, hopefully we'll all feel at least a little better by then.

The Superchips stays in the console of my truck anytime you need/want it.

Oh mann, Silver Dollar City is where we were planning to go,

You knew it was cowgirl month before I did..

Looks like we'll all be feeling better by then, luckily this seems like it was
just a 24hr. bug.

Alright, sounds like it should be fun. The drivers floor pan is in, but it is going to need some tweaking....Dave, have the BFH ready! lol We are going to try a different welder for the passenger side, we will see if that works. Tomorrow I am going to hook all the pedals up and be ready for Sat!

Went pretty good! I was able to drive it home! lol It nees more fluid in the tranny and then I will be able to give it a good test run. I misscalculated how much I need so I will have to wait till next payday to get more. Had a really good time and thanks again for the help.

Well it is time for an update on the tranny! I added more fluid and it was still making some noise inside. I was getting ready to plan a time to pull the tranny back out and shim it up properly. Well I was driving Mater around the block to strech his legs and I thought, I am gonna run in 4-high to lube up the x-fer case. Well I went to pull it into gear and the stick didn't move! WTF!!! I decided to see if it would go into neutral, maybe that would unstick the case. I stuck it in what I thought was N and the truck jumped forward when I let the clutch out. So I pused the stick forward one more and let the clutch out, it didn't move. Well come to find out I have been driving around in 4-high this whole time. I took mater down the road to check out and see if the noise was there.....nothing! I am guessing with the case in 4wd it was binidng up the tranny for some reason. I haven't tried to drive in 4-high to see if it makes any more noise like that. Maybe when the rain stops I will try again. And for those of you who weren't there and didn't get to see the syncro carnage, here is a pic!

Andy, glad to hear that the noise wasn't the trans set-up. That syncro looks nasty, like so many others that I have seen from the trannies.
