The speedometer went quit, cruise quit, and the ABS lite is on. I'm thinking the OSS sensor on the diff is bad or the wiring. Comes back on now and then and all things work, so I'm thinking more in line with broken wire. Any thoughts? TIA Lee

 

Yea, sounds like the VSS sensor, in the rear differential. That is the source for the speedo. With no speedo, you get no cruise. The ABS could potentially be it also. But replace the rear sensor, and see what happens with the ABS, you could also need to clean debris from your front wheel speed sensors for the ABS.

 

Yup, your VSS sensor on the rear pumpkin is gone. Ford OEM sensor is only about $20 or so.

 

Yup. The VSS is the one thing common to all your failed systems.
