I have been toying with the idea of polishing out my oil bath airfilter, I think it would look neat but I am not sure what the metal is, if its brass or steel or aluminum(sp). Brass sucks but aluminum and steel look good polished. I know that chroming would runin the airfilter so I am just thinking of the polish idea.

Anyone ever seen one of these polished?
